In which the Writer has 6 VR films released

IMMERSIVE COMBAT is out now on all popular VR platforms. A series of six short action/sci-fi Virtual Reality films produced by Spherica VR. I wrote Season One.“Welcome to Immersive Combat – where Vikings, pirates, knights and cyberpunks fight in a strange and mysterious cinematic VR universe. What links all these warriors from different periods and places? Follow the stories and characters of the award-winning series to find out.

Immersive Combat is a truly unique VR experience, where cinematic VR is the key component.

Everything here is made to deliver the most amazing experience, to teleport you to new realms and fantasy worlds, to kickstart your imagination by putting you into the virtual world that was not CG created but produced with full cinematic power and grandeur to the maximum extent of realism, and with such passion to detail that will make you feel and believe every step of this epic journey as if you are physically there.”

In which the Writer is hired to write a sci-fi TV pilot

Sci-fi. I love it. Many of my favourite screen moments are full-on science fiction. Aliens. Predator. Terminator. Dr Who.

I’ve just been hired by to write a pilot for the TV series SENTIENT. Think Invasion of the Body-Snatchers meets The Walking Dead.

I think it’s going to be rather good.

Sentient is a multi-franchised operation run by Presence Global Entertainment in Australia, with variants in development in the USA, Germany, Australia, Russia and Africa. I’m writing the UK version. It will be set in the beautiful Lake District, in Cumbria. Expect scenery. (And aliens.)

In which my horror script THE DEVIL’S ANSWER is optioned…

Very pleased to report that my contained supernatural horror THE DEVIL’S ANSWER has been optioned by Two Tribes, a production company based in Los Angeles.

The logline: In a remote, snowbound prison run by a totalitarian regime, a dedicated torturer starts to believe that his mysterious, single prisoner is the Devil himself.

The Devil's Answer

The script was found on InkTip. Two Tribes are a new production company, and are now raising finance for a slate of three films including THE DEVIL’S ANSWER.

This is my second option this year for a low-budget horror screenplay.

To Hollywood and beyond!
